لأحاديث الأربعة كما يقرر الإمام أبو زيد رحمه الله تجمع الخلق كله بجميع مجلاته وجميع الأخلاق والآداب في مردها ومرجعها ترجع إلى هذه الأحاديث الأربعة

These four hadīth, as Imām Ibn Abi Zayd رحمه الله reports, gathers all of good characters in all aspects. And all the ahadīth of good character & manners all return to these four ahadīth.

١) قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: ” لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى يحب لأخيه ما يحب لنفسه.”

1) The Prophet peace & blessings be upon him said: “None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” ٢)

والثاني: قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ” من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فاليقل خيرا أو ليصمت.

2) And the second is the saying of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him: ” Whoever believes in Allaah and in the Last day, let him speak good or stay silent.”

٣)والثالث، قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لمن طلبه بأن يوصيه بوصية جامعة، قال ” لا تغضب. ”

3) The third is the saying of the prophet peace & blessings be upon him, for the one who sought a comprehensive advice from him, he said, ” Don’t be angry! ”

٤) والحديث الرابع قول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ” من حسن إسلام المرء تركه ما لا يعنيه.” 4)

The fourth hadīth is the saying of the Prophet peace & blessings be upon him, ” From the perfection of a person’s Islam is leaving that which doesn’t concern him.”
